Four Fresh Reasons To Do Business with India Forthwith

If you are associated with TiE, you have already seen the fire-hose of good news from India: hundreds of unicorns, the rise of India’s billionaires, the government’s massive support of startups, of production linked incentives and the hopes for defence and semiconductor manufacturing.

In this interactive conversation four experts will share their real-life perspectives on what is real about the opportunities in India in 2023 and what is not.

You will hear from a U.S educated co-founder of an AI-based fashion-tech platform located in Mumbai, Kuntal Malia. Learn how her expertise honed for Yahoo! and Shutterfly is helping women find the clothes that they would love.

We will learn about in enabling Indian consumer medical device startups to enter the regulated USA market via SeedTree. There may also be an opportunity for TiE angels to participate in their success. Nikhil Mendhi divides his time between Pittsburgh and India. He is a Deloitte consultant turned entrepreneur (Exponential AI)  and investor (Seed Tree LLC) .

One of the founders and benefactors of TiE SoCal is attorney and CPA Navneet Chugh, based in Cerritos, California. The Chugh Firm has been active in India for many years and Navneet will share his firm’s insights into what is new in 2023 – immigration, investment, taxes, M&A.

Moderating the conversation and providing his own insights will be Amritt CEO, Gunjan Bagla.  Gunjan is a management consultant and startup entrepreneur whose firm helps large and small companies work internationally across India and USA– market entry, global sourcing, funding, executive training.

Be ready with your questions, this will be lively and interactive.
